Next Peter tried to convince members that Windows WORDPAD is the most useful way to type up most documents. It cannot insert photos, but is simpler than Office Word for normal humans.

Look at the lower left of your TASKBAR on the screen. Do you have icons next to the START button ? You should. If they are missing, mouse to the bottom middle of the blue TASKBAR. One Right Mouse Click. Select TOOLBARS . One left mouse click on QUICK LAUNCH. Done.
The Internet Explorer window will open from this new Quick Launch area on ONE click. This also allows you to open multiple windows to the Internet.

Arlene gave a demo of the TABS feature in Internet Explorer. The smaller square at the right of the tabs opens a new Int Exp window over preceding windows.
